Tracy Naftalis

With 17 years of experience in the legal recruiting profession, Tracy Naftalis has developed a diverse practice fueled primarily by referrals from satisfied candidates and clients. Repeat business from satisfied clients speaks well of her approach. So what makes Tracy’s approach unique? Her intuition, tenacity and personalized approach to recruiting make Tracy one of the most highly regarded legal recruiters. But perhaps most importantly, her success stems from her genuine concern for both her candidates’ and clients’ success.

Tracy’s solid reputation is due in part to her successful history of placing candidates. Whether she is placing associates, partners, or partner groups into premier law firms of all sizes and cultures, from international institutional firms to mid-sized collegial shops to very specialized boutiques, she has always taken a personal, hands-on approach to making her candidates feel comfortable and finding the best fit for them.

Tracy uses that same personal approach to conduct attorney searches for corporations as well. The needs of her corporate clients range from Fortune 500 companies with specific needs in their legal department to small companies hiring their first attorney.

Tracy brings a wealth of experience to her job as legal recruiter. Having practiced law for a decade before recruiting, Tracy knows the professional demands of practicing law and the critical element of a cultural fit in making a successful match between employer and candidate.

Tracy received her J.D. Degree from the University of Houston and B.S. in Radio-Television-Film with Honors from the University of Texas at Austin. During her legal career,Tracy served as in-house counsel for a large Texas Savings and Loan, followed by seven years with the FDIC, Assistance Transactions Division.

Tracy stays active in the community by contributing her talents to many organizations. She has served on the Boards of: the Dallas Foundation for Psychoanalytic Studies, Promise House (a youth crisis center), and the Dallas Visual Arts Center, now known as the Dallas Contemporary. Her volunteer work has included: serving as a docent at the Dallas Museum of Art/Gateway Gallery where she was a tour guide to children, and as a volunteer at The Family Place and MediSend. Tracy is additionally active in the alumni of Ursuline Academy and a member of the Dallas Junior League.

In addition to her legal recruiting career and community involvement, Tracy is a wife to Ed Kittle and a mom to Eliza. She is an avid runner and cyclist and enjoys mountain climbing and yoga.
